Brilliant in-person class
This was my first class on the Professional Scrum Product Owner I, attending in person was a great experience! I loved the content and it wasn't hours of working through slide shows and being talked at, it was very practical based and the class was small which was a HUGE positive. Everyone was able to contribute in class and we all made new connections with other POs and potential POs. The instructor Lavaneesh Gautam was a fantastic teacher, he went over key concepts in detail with real-life examples which we could take away. His plethora of knowledge he shared and how to practically apply them makes him stand out as an instructor.

Sessions held by Lavaneesh were very explanatory and collaborative. His way of starting training post returning from breaks with 10 secs of exercise was quite impressive and never forseen that kind earlier. For sure, I would recommend to my peers to attend Lavaneesh trainings.

Small group, great insights
We were a rather small group, but our teacher new how to make the most of it. I gained a lot of insights from my classmates' experience and had ample chance to discuss numerous issues in detail. We were also introduced to range of useful tools to make our lives easier when managing multiple scrum teams.
I found some of the questions in the official test quite tricky and barely passed, as you have to choose say the 2 best answers out of 4, when there is a third possible answer that is also good. It would have been great to go through some questions like that to get a feel for what to look out for.

Brilliant training course!

A must-have for a good complement to PSPO training
A good mix between the trainer's contribution and open discussion with the participants.
We were a small group so we could focus deeply on our specific context.
The EBM training helped me to better understand the business part covered in the PSPO training.
It is an essential complement.
Lavaneesh is a good listener and he placed our context in most of the examples.

A masterclass in Scrum Master facilitation and difficult discussions
Laveneesh is an expert trainer and made the entire course engaging and interesting from start to finish.
The Advanced Scrum Master course wasn't what I was expecting. If you're here to learn Scrum go to the PSM-I course, this is two days of discussing the different stances of the Scrum Master, how to best serve the PO and organisation, all while learning powerful liberating structures and coaching techniques.

A great collection of techniques to help manage your product backlog
In my experience, there is a lot of poor product backlog management in the world - everyone has their own way of doing things, and best practice isn't shared.
This course helps correct that. I've learnt so many techniques via Lavaneesh's experience and hope that many people I work with either take this course or learn the skills required.
A great product backlog will help all the teams I work with a lot.

Long days that felt short.
Long days that felt short.. The course covered loads of content and 9 - 5 with so much to cover often makes the days feel really long. The energy in the room was great and this was fuelled by the energy of Lavaneesh Gautam our trainer.

10/10, amazing course
This course couldn't have been any better. Lavaneesh, the course leader, was amazing... very energetic, very engaging and very clever with his organisation of the day. The content and also the other attendees made the whole 2 days very enjoyable. Could not recommend this course highly enough to anyone currently in the Agile/Scrum world - the learnings are not just specific to Scrum Master.

The session was nice and very helpful. He was so patient and possess the characteristics of a great facilitator. Lavaneesh ensured that the session was very inclusive and participatory and took his time to ensure that everyone understood what he taught. Most importantly, he gave tips on how to pass the PSFS which I found very helpful because I passed the exam in one attempt.

I recommend PAL-EBM training with Lavaneesh. During one-day online class Lavaneesh created a space to share experiences and engaged all participants. I liked formula of this course - interactive, engaging and based on real use cases discussions.

Good group size, big enough to work with lots of different people in the exercises, not too big for individuals to ask questions and hear from everyone at least a few times.
Good time management in the course.
Interesting materials, lots of activities to keep minds focussed, much better than "death by powerpoint".
2 whole days and it didn't get boring.
Good examples of situations and solutions.
Content was appropriate to skill level of participants.
Suggestions for improvement (very minor!):
Less talking by facilitator during times when students are supposed to read or gather thoughts, be more comfortable with silence and letting people focus.
Maybe a bit more focus on non-team activities to give quieter people a chance to feed in directly.

We were also introduced to range of useful tools to make our lives easier when managing multiple scrum teams.
I found some of the questions in the official test quite tricky and barely passed, as you have to choose say the 2 best answers out of 4, when there is a third possible answer that is also good. It would have been great to go through some questions like that to get a feel for what to look out for.

A must-have for a good complement to PSPO training
A good mix between the trainer's contribution and open discussion with the participants.
We were a small group so we could focus deeply on our specific context.
The EBM training helped me to better understand the business part covered in the PSPO training.
It is an essential complement.

The Advanced Scrum Master course wasn't what I was expecting. If you're here to learn Scrum go to the PSM-I course, this is two days of discussing the different stances of the Scrum Master, how to best serve the PO and organisation, all while learning powerful liberating structures and coaching techniques.

A great collection of techniques to help manage your product backlog
In my experience, there is a lot of poor product backlog management in the world - everyone has their own way of doing things, and best practice isn't shared.
This course helps correct that. I've learnt so many techniques via Lavaneesh's experience and hope that many people I work with either take this course or learn the skills required.
A great product backlog will help all the teams I work with a lot.

Long days that felt short.. The course covered loads of content and 9 - 5 with so much to cover often makes the days feel really long. The energy in the room was great and this was fuelled by the energy of Lavaneesh Gautam our trainer.

This course couldn't have been any better. Lavaneesh, the course leader, was amazing... very energetic, very engaging and very clever with his organisation of the day. The content and also the other attendees made the whole 2 days very enjoyable. Lavaneesh ensured that the session was very inclusive and participatory and took his time to ensure that everyone understood what he taught. Good group size, big enough to work with lots of different people in the exercises, not too big for individuals to ask questions and hear from everyone at least a few times.
Good time management in the course.
Interesting materials, lots of activities to keep minds focussed, much better than "death by powerpoint".
2 whole days and it didn't get boring.
Good examples of situations and solutions.
Content was appropriate to skill level of participants.
Suggestions for improvement (very minor!):
Less talking by facilitator during times when students are supposed to read or gather thoughts, be more comfortable with silence and letting people focus.
Maybe a bit more focus on non-team activities to give quieter people a chance to feed in directly.
