Hi, there my name is Arno Delhij. I am an Agile Leadership & Education Developer.
Although I started of as a Project Manager I soon discovered that traditional approaches were not working and started experimenting with short delivery cycles, a fixed team and frequent customer feedback sessions. I was thrilled to discover that there were more people practicing similar techniques as I was. This was some 10 years ago. From than on I have been working as an agile change agent helping both small and larger companies to increase their agility.
I have a strong passion for learning, I love learning but I hate to be educated. I love designing true learning experiences where people have fun and truly learn. And because of this passion I also helped teachers to implement Scrum in their classrooms and to create an environment for their students to enjoy and own their learning process. I was a co-author of the EduScrum guide (2015) (available in 18 languages) wrote my first book about Scrum in a classroom setting “Scrum in de Klas” (2020) and was happy to contribute to Gunther Verheyen’s book “97 things every Scrum Practitioner should know”.
Whenever I am not working with organisations or educators on Agility you are likely to find me in the kitchen to prepare some nice food for friends or family with a good glass of wine or a Belgium beer. The day after you may find me in the forest walking with my sheepdog enjoying nature and compensating for the fine food & wine of the previous night.
