Brett Maytom

Brett is an independent Professional Scrum Trainer based in Australia.   He has been consulting, mentoring, training and building products since 1987.  Brett moved away from traditional project management in 1996 and progressed to scrum in 2005.

Since becoming a PST in 2012, Brett has helped many organisations and has trained many people around the world.  He actively supports local agile meetup communities and online owns and moderates the Scrum Practitioners group on Linked In with 149,000+ members.

Brett has run his own business for years and has invested in building products. Brett has also been employed to work in a large organisation and huge high-profile products.  Brett uses this experience to mentor, coach and train Agile Business Leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and developers.  He is not limited to software products and has helped apply Scrum and agility to Media, People & Culture teams, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering teams, sales and marketing, Legal, Executive and Steering committees.
