PO training by Karel
The trainer showed lot of experience from Agile Transformations of large teams/companies and great insight into Scrum, traditional process, but also developer and manager mindsets. It was also great to see a "real life" approach, understanding that doing everything by-the-book all the time is not realistic.

Extensive amount of inspiration in two days
Very well structured training for Scrum Master II certification!! Intensive two days filled with the fundamentals for the certification, but also interesting facilitation techniques and extensive tremendous amount of inspiration for further study. Definitely recommend, thank you, Karel!!

Inspirational & practical
Great course with a lot of inspiration and practical exercises, which really gives you a new perspective on doing SCRUM in your team. The course is not only enjoyable, it arms you with specific principles and techniques to improve facilitation, it also makes you motivated to explore the topic further on your own. Karel (the trainer) is very experienced and serves as a great role model of a true facilitator.

Eye-opening in some ways
Karel is a great person, great tutor. Exercises were challenging and made us look at our organizations and its internal way of working from higher perspective - what we do and how we solve issues in our org and what consequences our decisions (as leaders) might have.

Great learning experience with human approach
Hello!
I had a blast learning about Scrum with Karel. It was a pleasant learning experience that made me understand Scrum theory and practices to the core. I can now safely say, what is Scrum, how should it work and what practices to do to ensure, that we are true to the Scrum. Oh and the most important answer to every question in Scrum? "It depends!". :)

What you wanted to know about Scrum, but much more!
Ok, so I was sceptical about a “Scrum Master” workshop, but it was very enlightening and I guess the best takeaway is that it is a simple framework, that mostly hinges on misunderstanding, wrong mindset and fear of implementation. Highly recommended and Karel was a great coach! Fun workshop!

Perfect situational context

PSPO-II Training
Overall I was satisfied with the course structure and outcome. Karel is a good facilitator and coach and I enjoyed two days full of role modeling and working with other POs in smaller groups and then exchanging learning objectives.

PSPO with Karel
I have to say that I had no expectation from this course. Probably because I have never attended a such. So expectation could not lead me to disappointment in this case :-). The course was very nice and full of a new information for me. Karel was a great trainer, full of enthusiasm and examples from his carrier. I was also impressed by my classmates as they were active, cooperative and ready to ask questions. These two days were really to be remembered for me.

Skvělý kurz se skvělým trenérem. Celý den byl veden prakticky, bez zbytečné teorie. Všechny techniky jsme si mohli sami vyzkoušet a k tomu jsme dostali odpovědi na všechny otázky, které jsme měli.
Karel podporuje diskuzi a nechá účastníky kurzu, aby si na věci přišli sami.
Kurz by bez problémů mohl být i dvoudenní, aby se dostalo opravdu na všechna témata a byl čas všechno řádně probrat.
Školení bylo v krásném prostoru a s celkově velmi příjemnou atmosférou.
Těším se na další.

Really professionally run course
Many thanks to Karel Smutný for the course. The training was mainly based on exercises and practical examples. I was a bit embarrassed because we didn't pay much attention to theory. But a few days later, I find out why Karel does it that way. Everything is always spinning around in my head, and when I'm forced to actually figure out the theory myself, it's much easier to remember. The course was very exhausting, but one more day would have been useful. :-)

"PSD I" assessment first time pass thanks to the course and trainer
A belated "Thank You" from me for running the 'Applying Professional Scrum for Software Development' online course from 5th-7th January this year. I found it highly instructional and also fun and engaging! It was exactly the course I needed; pitched at the right level for my experience of Scrum. Today I took the "PSD I" assessment and passed first time! That was only possible thanks to your exam guidance during the course and the way you taught the material. I followed your suggestions for preparation (as far as I could with available time in the two week window) and I'm sure I would not have passed first time without those tips. I shall be recommending the course to my peers (and directing them to one where you are the trainer!). Many, many thanks.

Very well prepared
Very well prepared. Very skilled instructor. However, the time box was very tight. It should last for 4 or eve 5 days instead of only 3.

The class suffered a bit for lack of time
The class suffered a bit for lack of time. From what I heard it is meant to last for 5 days but we did just 3 days. It looked like some things were left out and the rest compressed a little.
However, our trainer did a great job so I still got a lot out of it. Though, if I were preparing it, I would drop testing and coding practices completely in favor of Scrum itself.

Very inspiring and strong experience
For me it was very inspiring and strong experience with professional coach full of entertaining practical exercises. I recommend this training and I recommend this trainer.
(nevertheless the PSM II assessment was still quite difficult and I recommend also individual study of practicied topics :-))

Highly interactive class full of interesting insights
The class was highly interactive which forced me to pay attention and be involved most of the time. I really liked the topics of Scrum Goal and Product Owner and the amount of time we spend on them digging deeper into our problems. The use of Liberating Structures was really interesting and since we tried them in practice not only heard about them we are ready to test them on the projects.

PAL-E: Best course with scrum.org so far!
This is my third (PAL-E) and so far the best course with Scrum.org. "Professional Agile Leadership Essentials" gives you the advanced look at agile (what it means, why is it worth trying, what benefits it can bring) plus it thoroughly explains how to become a better leader, how to take good care of your subordinates, how to improve your organization and in general become a better manager/leader in an agile world. Our trainer Karel Smutný was great and even though I did the course online, I had no trouble keeping full attention and be engaged in all discussions and exercises.

Professional SCRUM Product Owner (PSPO I) training
Training led by Karel Smutný was very helpful. It was not meant as preparation for the certification (you have to learn the SCRUM theory from scrum.org materials and posts, etc.), instead it was designed as 2 days session for sharing experiences fortified with a lot of examples and exercises where Karel mainly facilitated the discussions by using the most powerful SCRUM tool which is self-organization. The thing was that we were discussing variety of different SCRUM topics and mainly attempting to find out ourselves the best answers, approaches or solution using SCRUM framework first and eventually being put back on track by Karel where needed. I was new to this approach but liked it very much. Thanks Karel and scrum.org for a lot of useful information.

I really liked the materials, the way how course was lead
I really liked the materials prepared for the course and how the instructor (Karel Smutny) lead the course. I enjoyed great collaborative ambiance among students.

PSM II training review
I was participating in Professional Scrum Master II class on September 7-8 with Scrum.cz and It was a great experience.
The training was focused on collaboration, sharing experiences, and training how to apply scrum in the best possible way in practice, how to solve conflicts, etc.
We also had the opportunity to practice how to think more out-of-box and in difficult situations instead of a lot of theory that I don't use much in practice
It was quite challenging, but I enjoyed it. I can recommend the course to anyone who wants to constantly improve and move forward.
I can also recommend trainer Karel Smutný, who has a lot of experience from various projects. He helped us feel comfortable, was optimistic and willingly answered all our questions.

This training is mostly about sharing experiences between the participants and not so much about receiving academic content from the trainer, keep that in mind when making your choice!

The training content was very interesting, by combining liberating structures with real scenarios situations and how to explore different perspectives from the participants and go further into approaches to tackle those.

"PSD I" assessment first time pass thanks to the course and trainer
A belated "Thank You" from me for running the 'Applying Professional Scrum for Software Development' online course from 5th-7th January this year. I found it highly instructional and also fun and engaging! It was exactly the course I needed; pitched at the right level for my experience of Scrum. Today I took the "PSD I" assessment and passed first time! That was only possible thanks to your exam guidance during the course and the way you taught the material. I followed your suggestions for preparation (as far as I could with available time in the two week window) and I'm sure I would not have passed first time without those tips. I shall be recommending the course to my peers (and directing them to one where you are the trainer!). Many, many thanks.

Very well prepared
Very well prepared. Very skilled instructor. However, the time box was very tight. It should last for 4 or eve 5 days instead of only 3.

The class suffered a bit for lack of time
The class suffered a bit for lack of time. From what I heard it is meant to last for 5 days but we did just 3 days. It looked like some things were left out and the rest compressed a little.
However, our trainer did a great job so I still got a lot out of it. Though, if I were preparing it, I would drop testing and coding practices completely in favor of Scrum itself.

Very inspiring and strong experience
For me it was very inspiring and strong experience with professional coach full of entertaining practical exercises. I recommend this training and I recommend this trainer.
(nevertheless the PSM II assessment was still quite difficult and I recommend also individual study of practicied topics :-))

Highly interactive class full of interesting insights
The class was highly interactive which forced me to pay attention and be involved most of the time. I really liked the topics of Scrum Goal and Product Owner and the amount of time we spend on them digging deeper into our problems. The use of Liberating Structures was really interesting and since we tried them in practice not only heard about them we are ready to test them on the projects.

PAL-E: Best course with scrum.org so far!
This is my third (PAL-E) and so far the best course with Scrum.org. "Professional Agile Leadership Essentials" gives you the advanced look at agile (what it means, why is it worth trying, what benefits it can bring) plus it thoroughly explains how to become a better leader, how to take good care of your subordinates, how to improve your organization and in general become a better manager/leader in an agile world. Our trainer Karel Smutný was great and even though I did the course online, I had no trouble keeping full attention and be engaged in all discussions and exercises.

Professional SCRUM Product Owner (PSPO I) training
Training led by Karel Smutný was very helpful. It was not meant as preparation for the certification (you have to learn the SCRUM theory from scrum.org materials and posts, etc.), instead it was designed as 2 days session for sharing experiences fortified with a lot of examples and exercises where Karel mainly facilitated the discussions by using the most powerful SCRUM tool which is self-organization. The thing was that we were discussing variety of different SCRUM topics and mainly attempting to find out ourselves the best answers, approaches or solution using SCRUM framework first and eventually being put back on track by Karel where needed. I was new to this approach but liked it very much. Thanks Karel and scrum.org for a lot of useful information.

I really liked the materials, the way how course was lead
I really liked the materials prepared for the course and how the instructor (Karel Smutny) lead the course. I enjoyed great collaborative ambiance among students.
The course inspired me to learn more about SCRUM and agile SW development and to attempt for working in a SCRUM team in near future.

PSM II training review
I was participating in Professional Scrum Master II class on September 7-8 with Scrum.cz and It was a great experience.
The training was focused on collaboration, sharing experiences, and training how to apply scrum in the best possible way in practice, how to solve conflicts, etc.
We also had the opportunity to practice how to think more out-of-box and in difficult situations instead of a lot of theory that I don't use much in practice
It was quite challenging, but I enjoyed it. I can recommend the course to anyone who wants to constantly improve and move forward.
I can also recommend trainer Karel Smutný, who has a lot of experience from various projects. He helped us feel comfortable, was optimistic and willingly answered all our questions.

This training is mostly about sharing experiences between the participants and not so much about receiving academic content from the trainer, keep that in mind when making your choice!

The training content was very interesting, by combining liberating structures with real scenarios situations and how to explore different perspectives from the participants and go further into approaches to tackle those.
