Ik vond de trainer bijzonder goed en duidelijk uitleg geven over alle onderwerpen. Ik kon vaak vragen stellen en deze werden duidelijk beantwoord. Er werden per onderwerp duidelijke voorbeelden gegeven waarmee ik een beter beeld kreeg. Door deze redenen ben ik zeer tevreden.

Martijn is very knowleadgeable about the content and gives room for interactions. although the content of the training was not new, the interactions made it a valuable experience

Good interactive course

Overall great hosting and teaching from the instructor. He was able to explain everything and answer with experience. We got many chances of practicing the theory by working in small teams and did it the scrum-way by using sticky notes and colored markers. I also want to add that I find it a big plus that everyone got the chance to suggest topics for extra explanation at the end of the final day of the course.

The courseleader was clear and kind. I only found that the end of the course was suddenly more difficult and it felt like we had less time to fully understand it. Day 1 was really nice, but the game could be shorter. So we had more time to analyse the Kanban Scrum method used in the game.

I would like to share my feedback regarding the recent training I attended at Prowareness. The interactive manner in which the training was conducted left me with a very positive experience. Particularly, I found Martijn's use of the flip chart to be highly engaging, effectively holding my attention throughout the entire session. This approach, in my opinion, is considerably more effective than the conventional PowerPoint presentations I have encountered in the past. Moreover, I would like to emphasize the value of the regular short breaks that Martijn incorporated into the training. These breaks proved to be exceptionally effective for me. They allowed me to maintain my concentration and process the material more comprehensively. This is an aspect that I genuinely appreciate, as it significantly elevated my learning experience. All things considered, I must mention that I have attended numerous courses in the past. However, this specific approach adopted during the training was a novel experience for me. The day progressed smoothly, and I felt actively engaged in the learning process. My sincere gratitude extends to the entire team, with a special mention to Martijn, for providing such a valuable and captivating training.

Great course

The class was very engaging and not death by PowerPoint. The flip charts we nicely planned out with input written in during open discussions. The time boxing was nice to have as it also allowed me to stay focused. The location had provided plenty of coffee corners and nice lunch buffet. My trainer was well experienced, and he had very nice stories to associate the learning martials with.

Despite the metric and term heavy training, the trainer manage to keep the training as simple and to the point as possible. He managed the energy in the room well with ample breaks and always steering the questions and conversations back to the main message of the course.

professional trainer nice atmosphere and good food room for open discussions

Martijn is a very good teacher who knows how to make a course interesting and how to keep the attendees engaged (he does have the world's best energizer for a reason haha). Furthermore, the course gave me a great first insight into the field of UX which I have never been in touch with before! It was very interesting to dive into the topic of UX and to get some practical experience as well. The case study we had to work on throughout the class was very helpful in understanding the Lean UX canvas better. Generally, the first day is very repetitive for those who have followed a PSM I or a similar training before but at the same time it was a good refresher of the Scrum theory too. The second day was definitely the best because it was more practical.

Martijn has knowledge of the profession and can convey the theory in a fun and creative way. The course is given in such a way that you have enough information to take the exam. If you want a PSM-1 training, this training (+ teacher) is definitely recommended.

Great course to get more insights in how to get better as a Scrum Master. The material is not giving you any secrets to being a Scrum Master but instead relies on putting the theory to practice and learning from the experience of the other participants. As the course is for experienced Scrum Masters, you can learn a lot from others that are out in the field doing the work. This leads to a lot of insight and tips with pratical examples that theory won't give you.

Excellent training Even though the training was virtual (as most are in current times), Martijn Ham managed to connect to (and make a connection between) all participants. A very useful two days!

The theory is very clear and many best practices and examples are given during the course. In addition to being able to pass the exam, it also provides many insights that you can apply in the field yourself.

The two day training is packed with tips and good practices of applying Kanban within a scrum context. The game played during the first day provides a good experience of how Kanban behaves in some situations. Together with the trainers you investigate your decisions and get insight in how this impacts the metrics gathered. Keep in mind however, the training is a overview of the concepts of Kanban relevant for scrum practitioners, you should study the theory yourself to prepare for the PSK exam.
