Interaction via zoom made the course lighter than expected. The use of colors and pre-prepared stations on Miro were helpful to keep focus and recall things. It The trainer was super friendly and patient and made me want to participate from the beginning to the end.

The course was intense and I really enjoyed that about it. It was not like other courses where the trainer is giving you a lot of theory and at the end you don't know how to use it, here we received a lot of useful materials what we can use later and we did a lot of practical exercises. I really liked that the course was more focused on practical things and made us understand the principals of a Scrum Master. 13/12/2023. Attended a two day Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) course led by Paul Ralton. Paul is a great communicator. The course flowed seamlessly. Paul has a great presentation style with lots of opportunities to ask questions and talk about real life examples which made for a really enjoyable and informative course. He kept the class involved with multiple break out / practical sessions and ran quiz sessions immediately after lunch - a great way to dust off cobwebs after a few sandwiches. A very informative course - thoroughly recommended

It is not only a theoretical course. They have a lot of good exercises. The mentality is no question is a stupid question. Each person has the possibility to share their own experiences

I thought it was a good course and left quite light at the end. The session had a good mix of break out sessions which was a good opportunity to mix with others during the two days.

The training was awesome! I am a visual type of person so using MIRO whiteboard with so many graphics and notes just made it easier to understand and digest information. There were so many live case scenarios during the 2 days where you had the chance to get to know your mates and brainstorm ideas. It was super interactive and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the first training where I was not getting bored with PPT slides. Paul is an excellent trainer and a great person who supports you along your learning path even after your training. I absolutely recommend him! Thank you!

It was actually a great class and I really enjoyed it! I had Paul Ralton in my PSM II class and I was so satisfied by that experience, so I booked my PSPO I again with Paul. Paul is a great coach and trainer, and his classes are very interactive, so that you can never be bored. I enjoyed the conversations that sparkled throughout the class, and of course the learning we got. I would definitely recommend PSPO I as a class and certainly Paul as a trainer.

Moreover, he’s pragmatic and understands that not every business or teams works in the same way and is able to draw on his experience to give guidance as to how you might apply Scrum in various situations, businesses, etc. The lessons were well planned, engaging, collaborative and deeply informative. The software tools used over the two days were great also, and really helped with the sharing, collaboration, and flow- tools I’ll definitely be looking to use myself.

I participated in two full days of virtual training with Paul, and even though the days are long, I have to say this is one of the best virtual trainings that I have ever experienced. Really enjoyed the pacing and variety. The only thing was that one of the activities was quite targeted at coding, as a team using scrum primarily for Marketing this was difficult to contribute to. But other than that was brilliant and really helpful.

The class was very practical and engaging. The right examples were used to ensure everyone understood. The content was very well delivered and time management was outstanding.

The knowledge and hands-on experience of the trainer is invaluable and helped me understand the Scrum theory better, I particularly like the big Scrum Framework chart (drawing) which nicely connects various components of Scrum and provides a very clear holistic view. The discussions, experience sharing and Q&A during the class have deepened my understanding of Scrum and even applied Scrum to my work. Also, this class gave me a lot of confidence to pass the Exam!

I thought the format worked really well. I was a bit sceptical about doing this sort of course remotely, but it was great. The use of Zoom (with breakout rooms) and using the Miro boards really felt like being with all people in the actual same classroom!

This has been a valuable use of 2 days. Having been a scrum master for 14 months this has brought the on the job learning into reality. I wish I had done this course 9 months ago! Paul Ralton had an excellent manner about him and made this online course very engaging and at no point did it drag which is a first for any online course I have done.
