Great course
Clear explanation with sufficient examples and various exercises that provided guidance on how to use the exercises and how they could be plotted on the various discussion boards to explain the purpose of scrum.

Scrum & Liberating Structures go together like PB&J
Barry and Christian have been wonderful hosts. From the energy, to the content and even the logistics, everything was spot on.
Watching the liberating structures come together throughout the session has been really inspiring, and I cannot wait to put them to practice with the teams.
I have enjoyed every second, and I highly recommend it to all the Scrum Masters.

Great interactive training!
The training given by Barry and Chris was amazing. The program was filled with interactive topics, based on formats from liberating structures, which is a great added bonus on the interactivity and translation to daily practice. The trainers are knowledgeable and put together a great training.

Great experience
Barry is the best trainer I have ever met!!
The training is full of valuable information but the way he managed to connect with the trainees id the most important. He exceeds my expectations and what I found it extraordinary is the psychological safety he inspires to you so you can freely express your ideas and enjoy the others experience. Then, like the cherry on the top of the cake, Barry comes and furbishes what we've already learned from each others having him guiding us all the time:D

Great trainer. Very energetic, easy adaptable and full of knowledge . A gem for our line of business, i would say.

Excellent to bring together pieces of a long-running puzzle
The PSM II class with Barry Overeem was excellent. There was a lot of learning through well-designed exercises coupled with necessary and not overbearing extra explanations from the trainer. I also loved the pace of the training, the attention to time boxing, the attention to our energy and understanding.
I also loved that all the exercises we did are reproducible inside our teams and organizations.
The class invites to reflection, honesty and critical self-assessment.

Barry is a wonderful trainer who reallyā¦
Barry is a wonderful trainer who really knows how to handle group dynamics. During the two days that the course lasted I never felt like I needed a break or that I was getting bored with the content.
I feel like I have come out of this training with several new ideas that I would like to implement with my teams and a new desire to experiment and grow.
The contents of the training seem obvious, but the way they are presented and discussed helped me understand the underlying concepts much better and make connections between them that I hadn't really thought of before.

New insights and creative thinking
Barry is a good trainer in my opinion.
He does what he says, this course is not about the facts and details of scrum: This course is more about the purpose of Scrum and the importance of the roles PO, SM and developper. The stakeholders and management, what is the relation with the scrum team and why is this relation so important.

Started like a Scrum Master, left like a Zombie ;)
The training Barry Overeem gave was really good and insightful. I liked the way the training was built up with posters, all the practical assignments and also the material we got to organise the workshops with our own teams. Even though I have quite some years of working experience with Scrum I learned a lot from this training. Luckily we received the cure for Zombie Scrum after completing the training :).

Amazing days with refreshing our Agile Scrum mindset
We had a two-day in company Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) training given by Barry. It were amazing days with refreshing our Agile Scrum mindset and a lot of new insights and a toolbox full to facilitate amazing workshops with our colleagues. And I also really appreciated the dry sense of humour of Barry.
Can't wait to see what positive impact we can have with what we have learnt these two days.

Not just simple listening
Not just simple listening, but actual activities that make you think about the framework and how you are operating in it.
Also, no judging or whatever. Everyone is there to learn, so the environment was very nice, safe and open to any input people had.

Christiaan and Barry did a great job at designing and delivering this training. Love how we worked a lot with Liberating Structures and that (almost?) every one of those exercises can be done with a scrum team. A wealth of knowledge and practical application thereof.

Training was amazing, but assessment sucks!
Training was amazing. I wish I could tell the same about PSMII assessment, but it was confusing, frustrating and make me angry, as big part of questions have nothing to do with topic and don't giving any hints in advance (budgeting questions, scaling questions, etc.).
If you want to test me on Scrum - go ahead. If you want to test me on practical implementation of theories in reality - your questions vague and suggest that for all organizations answer should be the same.

The Class was excellent!
The Class was excellent!
Barry and Chris master the framework and are able to add experience and the Liberating Structures to the content. The result are two very interactive days that are filled with theory and practical exercizes.
And because the āstudentsā were very eager to learn and share, the Class got even more immersion.
The location in the Volkshotel in Amsterdam was very okay as well, with a good vibe and also good vegetarian lunch and sustainable snacks.
I got a lot new (and forgotten...) insights and take-aways.

Perfect format for collaborative learning
Interactive with lots of opportunities to learn from the wisdom of the group. Teachers are open to questions and remarks. The class itself is kind of an awesome changing Framework for transferring scrum knowledge to be filled by the group.

PSM II Class was wonderful - Thank you! The 4 instructors had a wonderful dynamic and energy between them that kept participants engaged and contributing throughout the sessions. Perfect format for collaborative learning
Interactive with lots of opportunities to learn from the wisdom of the group. Teachers are open to questions and remarks. The class itself is kind of an awesome changing Framework for transferring scrum knowledge to be filled by the group.

Truely inspiring
Truely inspiring course, not a PowerPoint in sight!
Wonderful use of Liberating Structures to string the course material together effortlessly. This made the learnings fun and so interactive.

I love the interactive way of providing the training. My first "No Powerpoint" experience, however they used all these flipovers this was very helpful and inspiring.
The training generated a lot of ideas I have to exercise with my own clients.

Great energy and fun
Great energy and fun. Nice new insights and always good to have conversations with other people and share views, perspectives, best practices and experiences.
This training provided a lot of opportunities to combine everything and learn (how) to improve.

PSM II Class was wonderful
PSM II Class was wonderful - Thank you! The 4 instructors had a wonderful dynamic and energy between them that kept participants engaged and contributing throughout the sessions. They incorporated the participants knowledge and experience into the framework of their teaching and provided unique ideas and guidance for handling difficult situations.

Take it to the next level

It was an amazing 2 day class hosted by Barry and Christian (The Liberators) and would highly recommend the class to other scrum masters wanting to go get a higher level of understanding of scrum and its values.

Barry and Christ facilitate this 2-days class really well. They added lots of fun games to small groups, and motivate us to have lots of reflection together after each game to think about how to put into use in the workplace. You will NEVER be bored with a professional group. Highly recommended.
