Robbin Schuurman

Robbin Schuurman works as a product leader, trainer and consultant. He leads the Professional Product Management Academy within Xebia Academy and is founder of The Value Maximizers. Through coaching, training and consultancy, he helps Product Owners, Product Managers and Product Leaders to master the profession of Product Management. Robbin enables organizations to improve their impact on customers, improve the agility of the organization and improve their time-to-learn. He also has extensive experience in leading Digital, Agile and Product transformations.

Robbin is Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) at Scrum.org, the official training and certification body for the Scrum framework. He is co-creator and course steward of the Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced course at Scrum.org. Robbin offers various Scrum.org certified courses, including the Professional Scrum Product Owner courses, Professional Scrum Master courses and Professional Agile Leadership course.

Robbin has over a decade of experience in Agile, Scrum, Project Management, Product Management and (Product) Portfolio Management. In recent years, Robbin has fulfilled various roles in organizations, including being a Project Manager, Product Owner, Agile Coach-Consultant, Transformation Lead, Software Development Manager and Head of Product. Robbin worked with a wide variety of clients, across different industries and various company sizes (start-ups, scale-ups, hyper-growth and enterprise companies. Robbin’s past clients include ANWB, KPN, Aegon, Aon, Evides, CRV, EVBox, Everon, and Mollie.

Last but not least, Robbin is co-author of the book “Master the Art of No - Stakeholder Management for Product Owners and Product Managers” (available in Dutch, English and German). He is co-host at The Value Stream, a weekly podcast about Product Management, and he is a frequent publisher of blogs and articles on The Value Maximizers blog on Medium.
