Good introduction to Scrum
Good introduction to Scrum
Many use cases, all questions were answered, cases discussed, material covered. Presenter energized and competent. Improvement: could be a little shorter admin part in beginning so that we won't rush in the end.
Thank you for your energy!!!

Stephanie's work is fantastic!
Stephanie's work for this delivering this class is fantastic an excellent balance between knowledge delivery and workshop, she takes the time to clarify as much as possible even though there could be a lot to cover that time isn't always enough. I feel supported and oriented since the prep, while the execution and post followup.

Stephanie Ockerman was an excellent…
Stephanie Ockerman was an excellent guide and teacher for "Professional Scrum Master Training"! She explained multiple topics in clear and engaging language and brought energy, and I will even say joy to the virtual classroom!
Her mastery of the material was evident as was her ability to make the virtual classroom as engaging and instructive as possible via Zoom and the use of a great interactive, team-friendly and collaborative tool called "MURAL".
Stephanie covered material, was always open for questions, and continuously interspersed activities for small teams in breakout groups that helped us to challenge our old thinking and reinforce the new concepts she was teaching us.
She is a great credit to the Scrum.org team and I highly recommend her course(s) to anyone wanting to learn new ways of working that are more productive, effective, successful, and enjoyable!

Stephanie is a great trainer who has a great feel knowing when her students ‘get it’ befote she continues
Stephanie is an amazing trainer, overloaded with many years of knowledge and experience, who takes time to let things sink in with her students and has a great feel for continuing only when it does. Thanks to many of her personal examples sprinkled throughout the class, it truly was an amazing experience.

Feedback on the PSPO training
I like the flow of the training, it wasn't hard to follow even if it was virtual. I also liked that it was organized and starts and ends on time. Stephanie was very knowledgeable on the space and her samples were helpful. It's also good that she provided a quick training on Mural and Zoom first which aided us as we progress in the sessions.

We could see beyond the theory and into our day-to-day work
The training was very insightful and engaging. Throughout the two days, we learned through a combination of general group exercises, smaller group exercises, and master class setup. Most importantly, the concepts were delivered alognside complex examples that allowed the students (and myself) to see beyond the theory and into our day-to-day work.
After this class, I have clarity on the gaps between the way we do SCRUM and Product Management in my organization vs. a professional high performing organization. And I'm excited to share the journey with my team to improve the way we work.

Insightful and thought-provoking
The wealth of examples Stephanie make her classes always very insightful. Her questioning technique provokes a lot of thinking and each time keeps triggering me how I can apply the principles and concepts of the course. Step-by-step, to keep improving together with the teams I coach. No silver bullets, yet different perspectives that help me to find better ways.

Live the experience
A really well-structured course.
It can definitely get challenging and fast-paced while at the same time providing the chance for all participants to take their time to re-ground on what Scrum really is.
Stephanie creates a safe space where participants can learn, share, explore, always with respect to each other.
I would see this course more as an "experience", that i would urge anyone to try and live.

Great instructor
The instructor was very personable and provided a lot of information on the subject matter. Was patient spending the time to respond to questions with understanding and detail. Came away with a better understanding of EBM and how it could be applied in my work. More hands on exercises would have been helpful to practice our ability to create and understand Activity, Output and Outcome focused goals and how the measures are collected and analyzed.

The training with Stephanie Ockerman in Portland
The training with Stephanie Ockerman was really great and helpful. I enjoyed it from the first moment until the end. I especially liked the focussed work staying in our x-minute timeboxes for the training excercises. The training is held at a good pace and the trainer includes everyone to actively participate in the classroom. There are many element which are highly interactive group work. I would recommend that you know some fundamentals about Scrum and that you read the Scrum guide before the training. Other than that.

Resilience is the ability to turn hardship to experience. That is exactly what agility is about. We learn from our failures. We rise to the occasion. We swarm problems.
We all want to help. Unfortunately, acting on the desire to help is usually where many Scrum Masters, Coaches, and Managers can make a mistake. In this article, we explore 3 ways this desire to "help" goes wrong and offer tips on how to shift to an approach that is actually going to be more helpful in the long run.
Those newly introduced to the Scrum framework often have the same first question: What’s the difference between Scrum and traditional project management? Most people are familiar with the basics of traditional project management, so the question is a great place to start for understanding Scrum and its benefits.
The three Scrum artifacts represent work or value. They help us maximize transparency, making it easier to inspect and adapt our way toward better outcomes. Let’s look at the commitment for each artifact to uncover their critical role in enabling the business benefits of agility.
Embracing self-management can be challenging for teams transitioning to Scrum. It involves new skills and a different approach to getting work done. Scrum Masters play a critical role in helping their teams embrace greater autonomy. Let’s look at how.
The Scrum Guide gives us a maximum one-month timebox for the Sprint. That means while it can’t be longer than a month, it can — and likely needs to be — shorter. So, how do we choose the right Sprint length for our product? In this article, I share three questions to determine the right Sprint length and offer some additional tips.
The Scrum values help create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, guiding the team toward better results and a more satisfying work experience. I’ve written and talked a lot about the Scrum values over my consulting and coaching career because I’ve seen how they can galvanize teams to achieve their best work. I’ve also seen how they are often misunderstood. I hope this article will provide an easy way for readers to learn about the importance of the Scrum values and find helpful links to other Agile Socks posts for those who want to dive deeper.
With the widespread adoption of Scrum, variation in how teams practice Scrum has inevitably evolved. In this article, I outline 3 questions that can help determine if you're getting value from Scrum. Your answers might point to adjustments you can make to your practice to improve outcomes.
Successful Scrum Masters continuously find ways to improve their practice to have greater influence and impact on their teams and organizations.
