Warren Yu

Warren is a 30 year veteran in the Information Technology industry.  He began his career as a Computer Science instructor in a university and eventually moved to software development and technology architecture roles in various consulting companies. He was active in his local Microsoft community and was recognized as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for thirteen (13) years.

His Scrum journey started back in 2007 when he became responsible for a Scrum team. He was certified as a Professional Scrum Trainer in 2013 – the first PST from the Philippines.  He has trained, coached and partnered with professionals, teams and organizations in their journey to agility.

His former clients were mostly from the financial services industry undergoing digital transformation and culture change. He combines various tactics and techniques from agility, design thinking, value stream mapping, software engineering and others to better help individuals, teams and organizations solve their problems.

He currently works as an agile coach in an insurance organization based in the Asia Pacific.
